Seafood Lasagna

Seafood Lasagna

Seafood lasagna makes a great main dish for company.

Lasagna noodles
2 Tbsp butter
1 cup onion, chopped
8 oz cream cheese
2 cups cottage cheese
1 egg
1 tsp basil,chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup sherry
1/2 lb lobster meat
1/2 lb shrimp
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup mozzerella cheese, grated

If lasagna noodles require pre-cooking, follow package directions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Saute onion in butter until tender. Add cream cheese in chunks, stirring until melted. Remove pot from heat. Add cottage cheese, egg, and basil, and mix thoroughly.

Combine lobster, shrimp, mushroom soup, and sherry. Stir until well coated.

Arrange in layers in lasagna pan: noodles, cream cheese mix, noodles, seafood, parmesan cheese, mozzerella cheese.

Bake covered for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes, or until top cheese is melted.
