What's Your Favourite Way to Eat Lobster?
Lobster is my favourite out of all the different kinds of seafood. Cracking the claw to get the big chunks of sweet meat, sucking the legs to get every bit of the juices, crunching on a side of corn on the cob, rinsing it down with a nice cold beer, and finishing it all off with a bowl fresh strawberries. And all while enjoying the fresh air overlooking the harbour. Now that's a meal fit for a queen.
I'm no queen, of course. Just a regular east coast gal, born and
bred in the Maritimes, who's been cracking sea bugs since before I could walk. Well, maybe not quite since before I could walk, but certainly long before kindergarten!
Probably like you, I surf the web alot, and I've noticed alot of people asking questions about cooking and eating lobster. So this site is all about just that - from the point of view of someone who grew up next to the ocean. The thing is, you actually don't need a ton of fancy tools to do either. Alot of these recipes are my mother's, some of them were my grandmother's. I've got here the simple recipes - cooking the bugs plainly, which is my favourite way of preparing them, but I know some of you are looking for fancier recipes, so I've got some of those on here too. There are also other seafood recipes.
